This Policy explains how ROLA IP collects, uses, shares, retains, and protects personal information.
This Policy applies when you visit the ROLA IP websites, register an account, purchase or use proxies or APIs, contact support, or participate in an activity where we process personal information. When you use the Services to access a third-party website or process another person's data, you remain responsible for complying with applicable law and the third party's rules.
1. Scope
"ROLA IP," "we," "us," and "our" refer to the operator of ROLA IP. This Policy applies to rola-ip.co, console.rola-ip.co, the dashboard, APIs, proxy network, customer support, and other Services that link to this Policy. We generally act as the data controller for account, website, and business operations data. If an enterprise customer asks us to process personal information on its behalf, the parties may enter into a separate data processing agreement.
Third-party websites process information under their own policies. This Policy does not apply to their independent activities.
2. Information We Collect
Depending on the features you use, we may collect:
- account and contact information, such as your name, username, email address, telephone number, country or region, company, language, and account settings;
- transaction and support information, such as orders, deposits, balances, invoices, payment tokens, transaction status, refunds, support tickets, communications, and attachments; full payment-card numbers and security codes are generally processed by payment service providers;
- identity and compliance information, such as identity documents, business records, business websites, intended use, and verification results when required by risk or law;
- device, website, and account activity, such as IP address, browser, operating system, language, time, pages visited, sign-ins, setting changes, error logs, cookies, and risk signals;
- Service usage data, such as source or authorized IP address, proxy endpoint, selected location, protocol, connection time, usage, request volume, concurrency, bandwidth, errors, and limited target-domain, port, or other metadata needed for routing, security, complaint investigation, or troubleshooting;
- URLs, parameters, code, request samples, and corresponding results that you voluntarily submit to a scraping API, remote browser, or support team; and
- transaction confirmations, verification results, attribution data, and abuse reports lawfully provided by payment, identity verification, anti-fraud, upstream, partner, or public sources.
3. How We Use Information
We process personal information only where we have an appropriate legal basis, including performance of a contract, compliance with a legal obligation, protection of our or a third party's legitimate interests, and your consent where required by law. We use information to:
- register and manage accounts, authenticate connections, deliver and meter the Services, process payments, and provide support;
- verify identity and payments, prevent fraud, attacks, and abuse, and protect accounts and the network;
- troubleshoot problems, analyze performance and use, and improve the Services;
- comply with tax, sanctions, court, regulatory, and law-enforcement requirements, handle complaints, and protect legal rights; and
- send product, promotion, or research communications with consent or where otherwise permitted by law.
Where processing is based on consent, you may withdraw it at any time. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing that occurred before withdrawal. If you do not provide information required by contract or law, we may be unable to provide the relevant Services. Automated security controls may impose a temporary restriction, and you may request human review by contacting support@rola-ip.co.
4. Proxy Communications and Customer Data
The proxy service transmits requests to, and returns responses from, third-party networks on your behalf. We must process limited communications metadata for connectivity, authentication, metering, and security. The specific data involved depends on the product, protocol, encryption, and technical architecture. For end-to-end encrypted traffic, we generally cannot read the encrypted content, although we may still see metadata necessary for routing. As a general rule, we do not proactively inspect or retain communications content for extended periods, except for limited processing required for security, troubleshooting, complaints, or legal compliance.
If you collect or process personal information through the Services, you are responsible for confirming access authorization and a lawful basis and for meeting notice, rights-response, security, retention, and cross-border transfer requirements. To request a data processing agreement, contact support@rola-ip.co.
5. How We Share Information
We do not disclose personal information arbitrarily for purposes unrelated to this Policy, and we do not sell personal information for monetary consideration. Where necessary, we may share information with:
- vendors that provide cloud hosting, network, payment, tax, identity verification, anti-fraud, analytics, customer support, email, audit, or professional services on our behalf;
- affiliates where needed for coordinated operations, support, security, finance, or compliance;
- enterprise account administrators, who may be able to view members, permissions, usage, orders, and related activity;
- potential or actual transaction parties in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, or asset transfer;
- upstream providers, rights holders, or affected parties where necessary to investigate a credible abuse, security, or infringement incident; and
- courts, regulators, or law-enforcement authorities making a valid legal request, and third parties you expressly authorize.
We require vendors that process information on our behalf to maintain appropriate confidentiality, security, and data-protection safeguards. If analytics, advertising, or cross-site attribution constitutes a "sale," "sharing," or "targeted advertising" under applicable law, we will provide any legally required opt-out mechanism.
6. Cookies and Marketing
We and our vendors may use cookies, local storage, pixels, SDKs, and logs to maintain sign-in sessions, remember settings, provide security, analyze performance, measure campaigns, and deliver relevant marketing. Where required by law, non-essential cookies are enabled only after consent. You can learn about and adjust these technologies through our cookie settings, your browser controls, or the Cookie Policy on our website. Disabling essential cookies may affect sign-in, payment, or security features.
Account verification, order, renewal, security, and legal notices are Service communications. You may opt out of marketing messages through the unsubscribe link, account settings, or by contacting support@rola-ip.co. We may retain the minimum suppression record necessary to honor your choice.
7. International Transfers and Retention
Because we provide the Services globally, personal information may be processed outside your country or region. Where required by law, we use adequacy decisions, standard contractual clauses, contractual and security safeguards, or another recognized mechanism to protect international transfers.
We retain information only as long as necessary to provide the Services, perform contracts, meet legal and accounting requirements, maintain security, handle complaints, or protect legal rights. The specific period depends on the type and sensitivity of the data, the associated risk, and applicable statutory requirements. When the retention period ends, we delete, anonymize, or isolate the information. We may extend retention for an investigation, dispute, chargeback, or legal hold. Backup data is deleted through the normal rotation cycle.
8. Information Security
We use safeguards appropriate to the risk, including encryption in transit, credential protection, access controls, least privilege, logging and monitoring, vulnerability and patch management, backups, personnel confidentiality, and vendor review. No system can be guaranteed to be completely secure. You should also use a unique strong password, protect API and proxy credentials, restrict authorized IP addresses, and promptly revoke access that is no longer required.
If a personal information incident requires notification under applicable law, we will investigate, contain its effects, and provide required notice to regulators or affected individuals. Report security concerns to support@rola-ip.co.
9. Your Rights
Depending on applicable law where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, restrict processing, obtain data portability, object, withdraw consent, opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising, appeal a decision, and be free from unlawful discrimination. You may also complain to a competent data protection authority.
You can update certain information, manage cookies, or unsubscribe from marketing through your account settings. For other requests, email support@rola-ip.co and state the type of request, your account email, and your location. We may reasonably verify your identity to prevent impersonation. A request may be subject to lawful exceptions for tax, security, anti-fraud, the rights of others, or legal claims.
10. Minors, Updates, and Contact
The Services are intended only for users aged 18 or older, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided information to us, contact us so we can investigate and take appropriate action.
We may update this Policy to reflect changes in our products, data practices, law, or security. We will update the date at the top and notify you of material changes through the website, dashboard, account email, or another prominent method. Where required by law, we will obtain consent again.
